ABOUT US
OUR BEGINNINGS
Tauranga Pool & Spa (TPS) is located within the beautiful suburb of Mt Maunganui, Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty. TPS was launched in 2020 by Peter & Sara – a husband and wife team. We are originally from Wales (UK) and had fallen in love with NZ after visiting for 20+ years. After a gruelling visa application process and the highs/lows of selling business/properties, we finally arrived on NZ soil in January 2020 with our daughter Izzy (plus one very large suitcase each!) After an exciting but crazy three weeks, we secured ourselves a home, business property, cars and had signed Izzy up for school … Now what could possibly go wrong!? Just as we were about to open our doors ….Covid hit. However, fast forward three years, TPS is still here and is going strong – thanks to our fantastic team, our reliable suppliers and our ever-growing database of valued customers. Needless to say that we appreciate you all!
A Bit About Us
Peter has been in the pool and spa industry (UK) for 30+ years, including managing his own business for 20+ years. Sara has nearly 20 years’ experience of working within the corporate world of sales & events management (UK hospitality industry). Prior to that Sara had worked within finance and accounts for 10 years at a Cardiff University, before opting out to study full-time for her degree. With amalgamating both our experience and knowledge we have successfully created TPS and are now very proud to sell and distribute our products and services, throughout NZ.
Shortly after launching TPS, we quickly realised that there was a gap in the pool & spa parts markets for repairs and parts, so we decided to set up two subsidiary companies: Aquarius Spa Parts (www.aquarius-spaparts.nz) & (www.aquarius-poolparts.nz). Our aim is to lead the way with supplying spa & pool parts for both trade and retail, throughout the whole of New Zealand. We have a huge range oof product lines, which continues to grow on a daily basis. From jets and heaters to plumbing supplies and heat pumps and so much more. We can supply any part for the majority of brands, and if we don’t have a part in stock, we will endeavour to do our best to deliver it to you within a specified time. We can also provide technical support and in-house spa and pool repairs (if local).
